I'm a brand and life advisor in Sarasota, Florida. I help established owners align the business with the life it was supposed to make possible — and I use the same framework on my own companies before I hand it to anyone else's.
I learned it the expensive way.
It started in 2010, in print and brand design — the kind of work where you can see immediately whether something lands.
Over the next decade I built several businesses. Some worked. The ones that didn't taught me the actual lesson: beautiful branding fails without an aligned operator behind it. You can build a perfect brand for a person who is quietly falling apart, and it will still come apart. I've done it.
In 2017 I started exploring holistic modalities. That led to Reiki certification, then to apitherapy, then — unexpectedly — to the bees themselves. Standing in front of a hive reorganized how I think about businesses. A colony has purpose, inputs, structure, roles, output and expansion. Take any one of them away and the whole thing gets loud and unproductive long before it dies.
